It’s been a busy spring for our youngest sections.
Our Squirrels learned all about caterpillars and grew their own grass caterpillars at home. Our Beavers have been working towards their Teamwork Challenge Award with team tasks and games, with every Beaver encouraged to lead a game. Each of the six Challenge Awards brings them a step closer to the Chief Scout’s Bronze Award, the top award in Beavers.
The Beavers also spent an evening learning about garden birds and decorating bird boxes, which we hope to put up around the new HQ. There were some excellent displays of teamwork, and the leaders were so proud of how everyone threw themselves into it.
