How does the joining list work?

Once you’ve filled in the form we’ll add your child to our joining list and allocate room in the section/unit you’ve requested. A volunteer will be in touch to offer a place and let you know when you can start. If we can’t allocate a space straight away, we’ll aim to allocate one as soon as possible.

If you don’t hear from us, we appreciate your patience. Someone will only be in touch as soon as a place is allocated, this is most likely to be at the start of a new term.

If you would like your child to join a section or unit at Needham Market Scouts, please enter your/your child’s details in the form below. Your details will be stored in Online Scout Manager, which we use to manage youth members across the Scout group.

Please be aware that, by entering your details below, you are permitting 1st Needham Market Scout Group to store and share the information supplied in order to assist in finding your child a place.

Scouting in Needham Market is entirely volunteer led, with hundreds of hours donated weekly by our adult volunteers, please consider volunteering.
